As for homemade mac and cheese, I use Pioneer Woman's recipe (the one with ground mustard...she has a couple). It's sooo yummy!

I made a birthday list of 36 things to do before I turn 36, too. I have 17 days left, and it's not looking too good. BUT--by making the list I did do more than I would have otherwise.

I might just borrow some of your items for my next list...you can never have too many food-inspired goals :-)

For mac and cheese, google Martha Stewart's recipe. It will dirty every pot and pan you own, but it is fantastic and not too hard. Be warned your kids might not touch it because it does not look like that neon blue box kind.
